Tools
I created this series inspired by the colors of toy tools. I used it as a study of color, contras and composition. It was a Design and Art-Direction exercise as much as it was photo-shoot.
Converging lines and triangles are a great way to guide the viewer in an image and my goal was to play with the lines created by each tool and see where that would take me. Adding as many triangles as possible to the mix.
I kept the lighting simple with defined shadows to add negative space but shaped it enough that all the different textures could pop and stand out.
After shoping for tools and picking colors, fabrication was simple,
prime, paint and shoot.
