Pitfalls

I created this animation inspired by the shifting landscape of Brazilian politics. The central element—the large, colorful button—is a direct reference to the tactile interfaces of Brazil's electronic voting machines.

To bring this concept to life, I fabricated every element by hand using foam board, which was then spray-painted and rigged for a stop-motion production.
By using practical materials and physical rigging, I was able to capture a sense of weight and mechanical motion that reflects the subject matter.

Check out the BTS to see the fabrication process and how the final sequence came together on set.
