I co-created this basketball-themed animation with Design Director Diego Miguel. We drew our inspiration from the energy of the NBA playoff season and the intense drive toward the championship.
The courtside environment—with its bold lines, varied textures, and high-contrast colors—provided a rich palette for our design. To tie the elements together, we used a unique in-camera technique: court lines were cut from vinyl and applied directly to the camera lens. This allowed us to force the perspective, creating a sense of depth that draws the viewer directly into the frame.
The result is a dynamic piece that captures the spirit of the game through a mix of graphic design and practical photography.
