This project began as a pitch concept for an electric shaver, centered around the playful line: "Hairy letters make summer questions."

In an era dominated by CGI and AI, we chose to rely on time-honored practical fabrication techniques to bring these images to life. Our process involved a full production cycle: from sketching and sculpting to mold-making, casting, and manual hair-punching.

We fabricated every letter of the alphabet—including duplicates—to ensure we could arrange and shoot all three complete phrases simultaneously on set. With the physical lettering complete, we were able to experiment with different lighting and camera angles to find the most compelling way to showcase the textures.

It was a deeply hands-on project that allowed me to push the boundaries of my fabrication, design, and art direction skills.
